Note: For a no-drill option, use this part with the Short Bracket (#18140) or Long Bracket (#18136). Clamp the short or long bracket to the hitch and attach the trailer connector mount to the no-drill bracket. A few Draw-Tite and Hidden Hitch Class III, IV and V trailer hitches have the no-drill brackets already installed on them.

This mounting bracket was a very poor fit for the 4 pole trailer light plug. It took quite awhile to push the plug into the slot. I had to trim some of the plastic off of the plug to get it to fit.
Purchased with a Draw-Tite hitch that has the bracket welded to the cross member. No sweat to install onto hitch.
Remember to mount the bracket to the hitch before installing hitch. Also, the vertical tab with the slot must face the rear of the truck to accept the plug from the wiring harness.

Product has worked fine this this past year.
Worked great mounted it to the plastic bumper cover.
Received order as stated. Hitch receiver fit my 2022 Ford Transit a little tight between frame rails due to bumper support thickness. I lifted up the hitch into frame rails evenly with a little pressure from a floor jack and light taping with an hammer and it went right in place.
I like this hitch because of it’s low profile, allow more ground clearance than some.
Works perfectly in conjunction with the no-drill bracket. Holds the 4-pin plug nice and tight.
Installation was fairly easy. Product was well made and coated very nicely. Directions nice and clear. Instructional video was a lot of help. Thank you for all the resources and support.

The Curt is the way to go. It is a far superior build quality than the other brand they have. Don't want to upset anyone about brand. But,the Curt build quality is first class.
Great quality and good video instructions. Done in about 2 hours to include wiring. Watch the videos over and over.
Simple plate with mounting hardware but makes the install much cleaner.
I purchased your parts for installation on my van so I could legally pull a trailer. The installer was professional and commented that these parts were easy to install and of good quality.
Upon delivery the box was sorta damaged so had me worried, but everything was in the box and nothing was damaged or lost. The hitch went up without any problems. I got all the bolts in the designated spots. The hardest/time consuming part for me was running the power wire to the front of the car to hook it up to the battery. Would have been much better if the instructions came with a wire tap to connect into a cigarette port in the back. But other than that it went smoothly on my wife’s 2018 Nissan Rogue SL AWD.

I'm glad that the hitch ended up arriving in good shape. Usually the 12v ports don't supply enough power the harness needs to properly power the trailer lights. While not easy to run, it is always best to run that wire up to the battery like you did already :)

LThis is the only pkace e I’ll buy trailer hitches & accessories. I’ve bought 8 or 9 hitches & harnesses over the years, their website is easy to navigate, & they’ve been great.
Well made and easy to install. Flipped it over after deciding the connector dust cover seals better facing down. Had to put a little grease on the tabs that lock in the connector to push it into position. Put washers on the nut side of the attaching hardware to keep from digging into the plastic cover.
Unit was fairly easy to install. I managed to do it with a floor jack and some plywood to hold in place while bolting to the frame. All bolts went in smoothly and hole on hitch aligned with frame.
I used it 3 time hauling 150 miles each way, all is holding together well. The wiring harness kit was fairly easy to install.
The install videos were a big help.
This mount worked great and gave me a place to put the wiring plug instead of letting it dangle in the air. I can easily remove the plug from the mount to give my wiring extra length when needed. I can also still cover the whole hitch installation and mount with the vehicle's fascia when they are not in use.
One year after installing on 2018 Nissan Frontier SV:
Worked perfectly and is still going strong. Instructions couldn't be easier to follow, and everything is still solid. I upgraded my trailer recently and had to go to a 7-pin system via an adapter onto this harness. All I had to do was thoroughly clean the plugs and add some dielectric grease, and I think this will continue to work perfectly for many years
Well you done it again, this is the 2nd trailer hitch I have ordered, for different cars, and the service CAN'T be beat.

I have never used it plugged in the wiring harness that you sent me and it didn't work. After hours of playing with still couldn't get it to work so I gave up.

Hi Craig, does your van have the factory tow package? The harness you purchased is only going to work on a 2026 Equinox with the tow package. Otherwise, you'd want to use # C59236.
The hitch fit perfectly. The taillight adapter only works on the brakes so there are no turn signals to the trailer. It blows the fuses when connected. The delivery was a huge problem as It did not arrive to my address and had to chase it down from points of delivery. Purchases should state “ do not deliver to post office box”
I have been extremely pleased with the hitch I got from etrailer. After a year, I have used it regularly to mount my bike rack. Granted, not as heavy a load as some, but the strength and fit of the accessories I have used are excellent. I also purchased, from etrailer, and installed myself the electrical hookups for my Highlander so I can use it with a trailer when the need arises. You can call me a senior citizen, but I had no issues with the installation. Oh, and I also got the electrical testing device. It works good, too.
